What Can You Put in a Dumpster?
The everyday materials our dumpsters generally accept, from furniture to roofing, and how to load them well.
Generally accepted
Most of what comes out of a cleanout or renovation is fine:
- Household junk
- Furniture
- Wood
- Construction debris
- Remodeling debris
- Flooring
- Roofing materials
- General household waste
Load it smart
Heavy, flat items go in first along the floor. Break down furniture. Fill gaps with bags. Keep everything level with or below the top edge so it can be hauled safely.
