How Long Should You Rent a Dumpster?
Most residential jobs fit in our standard 7-day rental. How to plan your week, and what extensions cost if you need more time.
Seven days covers most jobs
Standard rentals are up to 7 days. That covers a weekend cleanout with time to spare, or a renovation week from tear-out to final sweep.
Plan the week
- Have the dumpster arrive the day before you start, not the morning of.
- Do the heavy tear-out early in the week.
- Leave a day at the end for the last stragglers.
If you need more time
Extra days are $20/day when arranged before pickup. Same-day extensions are $40/day, so call early if your timeline is slipping.
